The Royal Flash Mob

Remember this?

This YouTube video went viral.  In its first 48 hours, the video was viewed more than 3.5 million times. Something about these people makes them fun to watch. It can’t  be their dance skills, so it’s probably the fact that it’s so unexpected, and it looks like these people are having fun and are being themselves.

The idea of dancing down the aisle was inspiring for a lot of other brides and grooms, and got a lot of imitators and parodies. T-Mobile, however, was the first to use it for marketing purposes.
The idea of people dancing down the aisle was surprising, so imagine people doing this at the Royal Wedding! If you think that’s unimaginable, watch the following video, because T-Mobile made it possible.
Well that makes the Royal Wedding a whole lot more fun to watch..

The Royal Wedding always gets a lot of media attention, so airing this in the countdown to the wedding of William and Kate was a great move. ‘Life’s for sharing’ is the idea behind the commercial. Beautiful events like a wedding are easily posted on to Youtube with T-Mobile, so you can share it with the whole world. Of course for the Royal Wedding this isn’t really necessary, considering the media attention they get.

Still, the video is just plain funny. The fact that T-Mobile even used lookalikes makes it all the more believable. Good job, T-Mobile.
